This 2 CD set features two classic Yiddish plays Fiddler on The Roof, or Fidler Afn Dakh in Yiddish, was the first production of Fiddler staged outside of the United States. Starring the great Yiddish comedian/actor, Shmuel Rodenski (Rudenski) and an all star Israeli cast. The Megilla of Itzik Manger, with song lyrics by all-time great Yiddish poet Itzik Manger, and performed by the great Yiddish acting family The Bursteins, featuring Peisach Burstein, Lillian Lux, and Mike Burstein. Music composed by Dov Seltzer.
